  • Aggressive Behavior in Children

    Truth is that children can be and often are by nature aggressive individuals.  If you ever watched a room full of kindergartners let loose to play freely with toys with no adult supervision you would witness varying levels of aggressive behavior.

      I’m a very paranoid person and tend to imagine all variety of horrific scenarios that could be taking place when I’m not with my children. In my mind, I can vividly see the house being flooded, or burning down, or blowing up, or having a tree fall on it, or being swept away in a tornado.

      It is not hard to come by ideas for disciplining children. What is important is that whatever form you use whether it be time-outs, restrictions or something else; it is teaching them to curb their behaviors and teaches them about consequence to their action.

      Kids are oblivious. No sooner do you buy your child a new toy, than you find it discarded in the corner of his or her bedroom. Attention spans are short in our tech-crazy culture, and our children are its most vulnerable victims.

      Every family is different and every child is unique. We made some bad decisions buying pets that did not match up with the child and we made some very good decisions as well. In my experience it is very important to do a lot of research ahead of time on how the animal will interact with the child and the family.
