Has anyone tried one of these Colon Cleansing "systems" that are all the rage these days?
Somehow, it makes no sense to add substances to a system you are trying to purge.
Wouldn't a few days of simply fasting and drinking tons of water accomplish the same thing, for free?

I don't believe in colon cleansing. The idea, say the experts, is to just move your bowels daily!

There are a lot of them out there now. I swear I hear ads all the time for them. The latest being "good belly". I've never tried any of them- and can't say that I would. I think the proper diet and exercise will do the same thing.

Colon cleanse doesn't make since to me either. It does seem that if you drink lots of water, you will cleanse your body normally.
I would like to know how much money these people make on their products. It seems that they rob people blind. I wish the FDA could make it so nothing could sold unless they completely approved it, but they don't---the companies just have to say it isn't FDA approved.

Harvy kellogg was crazy about them with yogurt too. I know of a few doctors who had to do repair work from abusive colonic treatments. If you have diverticulitis or diverticulosis then a special drink is taken to clean out the small diveticuli or pockets where matter can accumulate. Other than that condition, colonics should be used for medical purposes only. It was abig thing back in teh 1950s and 60s. making so many people dependant on enemas in their older years. Now a days they attribute so many things and convince so many to use colonics only to cause problems, especially ith granular coffee styles. julie
