A friend of mine mentioned something she was going to try -- Omega 3 fish oil that is flavored like lemon drops. Has anyone tried this? She'd heard it was good, but a bottle is $45 for 100 servings. Seems a little pricey to me, but perhaps it costs a lot of money to process fish into tasting like lemons. If it works though, I'd be willing to try it, but I'd like to know if anyone has heard of this or tried it first.

No, Elaine, have not tried that (yes, it is too pricey). Sardines in the tin is a rich source of Omega-3; when it's on sale it goes for 99 cents. I buy the lemon flavour, sometimes the mustard flavor and other times, with tomato sauce. I love sardines, especially with fried rice! Try it.

I think the tables are a bit overrated if you just eat foods, like fish, that naturally have Omega-3 in them. Since Omega-3 is the big thing now, you can even buy cereals and such that provide the amounts you need. The tablets are like anything else, you take them if there is a deficiency as a result of your diet.

I'd heard that plenty of Omega 3 was supposed to be good for a person, and since we don't eat a lot of fish, supplements seemed a good choice. I haven't seen cereal with in it but will look for it. It's been a while since I've had sardines and haven't tried mustard flavored ones. I'm intrigued.

Hi I have been taking fish oil for years and i have tried that liquid one too. I stopped taking the pills because it was a pain to have to take like 7 pills a day meaning all my vitamins so I started taking liquid vitamins and they are great. So that liquid fish oil is good, also I take Liquid Nutrition which is great vitamin and taste like blue berries, strawberries.
