3 Products To Try For Joint Pain

There are many people out there dealing with chronic pain in their hands, knees, elbows, shoulders, and elsewhere. Many have found ways to naturally cure these pains while others look for supplements and other products.  Several supplements on the market promise to ease joint pain. Legitimate products help you control osteoarthritis (OA) or rheumatoid arthritis (RA) joint pain.

However, many supplements that are advertised as joint pain relievers can actually be harmful. It is important to consult with your doctor before taking any supplements. Usually, the preferred choices of pain relievers are acetaminophen (Tylenol) or nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs like ibuprofen (Advil).

However, if you do some research, you can find other effective products on the market, which help you counter arthritis effects. This article will discuss some alternative products to relieve joint pain.

Products with CBD Oil

In recent years, CBD oil has gained massive popularity as a natural alternative to pain relief. CBD or cannabidiol occurs naturally in the cannabis plant, and some people believe that its oil may relieve pain related to chronic conditions, such as arthritis.  Arthritis is the main cause of disability in the US; over 50 million Americans are affected by this problem.

Recent studies have suggested that cannabidiol or CBD oil may play a role in treating arthritis and chronic pain. It is essential to know that CBD oil does not contain THC, which is responsible for making you high. Unlike THC, cannabidiol does not have mind-altering effects and is non-intoxicating.

Nowadays, different lotions, creams, serums, and balms come infused with CBD oil. They not only claim to make your skin look better but may help you counter joint pain. This way of taking CBD oil is known as a topical. If you want more information about CBD topicals, you can check out Green Roads websites. They have some amazing CBD oil muscle and joint pain relievers.

Products with Omega-3 Fatty Acids

There are almost 100 different types of arthritis, and all of them directly affect your joints. Omega-3 fatty acids commonly found in fish oil have anti-inflammatory properties which are said to work against arthritis. A daily dose of about 2.7 grams of fish oil gives you the anti-inflammatory effect.

Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) are the two types of omega-3 acids found in fish oils. They both help to reduce inflammation, which is the reason behind swelling and pain in joints. Different studies suggested that omega-3 fatty acids offer pain relief for people with rheumatoid arthritis, and they do not require any NSAIDs after that.

Products with Rosehip Extracts

The use of roses and rosehip extract for medicinal use has long been popular. However, its potential benefits for treating arthritis have recently come to light. According to the most robust and reliable research, the specific species of rosehip called w is said to have a potent anti-inflammatory ingredient known as galactolipid or Gopo. Different studies conducted in Scandinavia and Germany states it can reduce joint pain, stiffness, and swelling. It also promotes joint mobility, and minimizes the need for taking painkillers or supplements.

Other studies claim that rosehip can be more effective than either glucosamine or paracetamol in treating osteoarthritis. Though there are many products on the market with rosehip, it is unclear if all of them have the same effectiveness in treating joint pain.  More research needs to be carried out to discover whether all rosehip products offer the same benefits or not.
