No "baby pictures" to show at kindergarten (like all the other kids), so I asked my parents. They said my real parents died in car crash. WOW. Years later I became even more suspect, so I started researching >> I was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa (why so far away?) So I went to the state of Iowa microfilm (Lucas Building) & searched for a child born on my birthday. Sure enough, I "found me". Found my real mother too. My mom was only 16 when she had me (knocked up at 15), and she had a difficult childhood. I eventually found 3 half sisters and 5 half brothers too. We all had the same mother. I never did find my father because he was dead by that time. I think every child deserves to know the truth about their parents. I'm 68-years-old now, and this still bothers me. Especially since my adopted parents heavily favored their "biological son" compared to me. The lies & giving my younger brother "sections of our farm on a regular basis" starting in 1978. My adopted parents lied to me and to our adopted sister by promising all 3 of us would always be treated equally --- even up until their recent deaths. So I consider those "parents" liars & thieves. I will never think otherwise, because I cannot fathom doing what they did. You have kids -- treat them all equally. I appreciate your time reading this, cuz I know you have better things to do. I will "stand my ground" on this until I die. thoughts?
