My question would be if you are hearing and not actually doing the things. From a parental perspective, it gets incredibly annoying having to keep someone on task who would rather lose themselves in the internet for hours on end rather than take care of responsibilities. If you ever enter a relationship with a partner like this, you’ll understand how mentally draining that is.

We said all we wanted was to ask her something face to face, and then she could close the door again. She ignored us completely and turned her music up.
